Creating and sending a quote
Turn a project's BOQ into a client-ready quotation.
A Quote packages a project's BOQ total into a formal quotation for the client, with overhead, contingency, profit margin, and GST applied on top.
- 1Go to Estimates & Quotes and select the project.
- 2Click + New Quote. Review or adjust the overhead %, contingency %, profit %, and GST % (these default from your company Settings).
- 3Set a validity period, then save - the quote total is computed and fixed at this point, so later BOQ changes won't silently change a quote you've already sent.
- 4Update the quote's status (Draft, Sent, Accepted, Rejected) as it moves through your sales process.
